Are Air Fried Vegetables Healthy?

Air Frying requires very little oil, so air fryer vegetables are healthier than vegetables fried in oil. Which cuts out a lot of calories and fat.

Does Air Frying Lose Nutrients?

All cooking methods do destroy some nutrients. But, because the air fryer cooks quickly so it loses less nutrients than other cooking methods.

Air Fryer Tips

  • For crisp vegetables, be sure not to crowd the air fryer basket. You want enough space around them for the hot air to circulate. This means you may have to cook in batches.
  • Cut vegetables in pieces that are all the same size for even cooking.
  • Shake the air fryer basket, or flip the food, halfway through the cooking time.
  • If you want to air fry vegetables without any oil, try using a silicone liner. You can get them for any size of air fryer and food doesn't stick to them. Plus they make cleanup easy.
  • If you are cooking smaller vegetables like peas or mushrooms in the air fryer, a silicon pan is very handy.
  • Always keep in mind that cooking time for different air fryer models can vary. You may have to adjust the times according to your model.

This delicious collection should keep your air fryer side dish game busy for a while. But be sure to bookmark this page! Because we'll be updating it as we develop more great air fryer vegetable recipes, and discover new ones on the web.
